Favourite Moments from London Fashion Week Autumn.Winter 2012

It seems like forever ago now in the fast-moving fashion world, but I'm still dwelling on London Fashion Week. I thought I'd write a post about some of my favourite moments from the catwalk. Unfortunately, I don't run in fashion circles so was not there to experience ANY of it first hand, but the internet is a wonderful thing and if you were on the ball you could have live streamed most of the shows.

1. Raining at Burberry

Christopher Bailey brings rain to the Burberry Prorsum show, very fitting at LondonFW

2. Disco Fever

Disco fever from the boys of Meadham Kirchhoff

3. Boys Done Good

Topman Design do their thing at LFW, it's not just the girls who can create some serious hype

4. Babes and Bikes

A nice little novelty at PPQ as models pushed beautiful white bicycles down the runway

5. General   for Topshop Unique

Proving why the British high-street is the best in the world, no gimmicks, no wacky hair and make up, the clothes spoke for themselves...one of the best collections from the week

6. Statement Hair

A halo type hair do at Alexander McQueen, models strutted down the runway through 'fallen' leaves, a beautiful show

7. What's that? Oh it's a typewriter

Amazing, genius lady, Mary Katrantzou. Last season was something to seriously live up to and she came back with some really interesting prints and shapes this time around too. Equally brilliant and clever, yet nothing like we have seen before from her.
