Chloë Sevigny Opening Ceremony Resort 2012

Chloë Sevigny's second collaboration with Opening Ceremony is about to launch and I found this great shoot with Bullet Mag if you want to take a peek at what will be on offer from December 1st. They also did an interview which you can check out here.

If you aren't familiar with Chloë's previous project with Opening Ceremony, her first collab saw Chloë look back to the early 90's as it was heavily inspired by her adolescence. Again, this second collection will draw inspiration from youth culture, but with a much more feminine twist. The Opening Ceremony blog gave us a peek of what to expect this time around,“girlish eyeleted dresses, 80s-inspired ra ra skirts, 90s skate classics, fanny packs, high-tops".

RUSSH Magazine

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

Russh is an independent Australian fashion magazine, showcasing innovators in fashion, art, music and film through originally produced editorial and photography.
The magazine comes out every two months, but it's pretty hard to find in the UK. After reading a copy of the magazine, 'The Jessica Stam Issue' in Australia, I've been dying to get my hands on it again. I am told that a retail chain called 'Magma' carry the mag, they specialise in independent magazines/coffee table type books and that sort of stuff, so when I finally track the latest issue down i'l be sure to follow up with another post as I know it will have something in it worth sharing!

Here are some shots from the Jessica Stam shoot from that issue (April/May 2011).

Jessica Hart NEON HART

Famous for her gap tooth, the gorrrrrrgeous Australian model Jessica Hart has her own label NEON HART. The collection strongly reflects the models coveted personal style. She told Vogue magazine "It's basically my wardrobe,". "It's easy to wear and can be dressed up or dressed down. It's boyish meets girly; sexy meets rock 'n' roll. I've worked closely with our designer on the fabrics, designs, ideas, prints and colours. We develop it together".

I first came across the collection when I was in Sydney in one of my favorite Aussie retailers General Pants. It launched in the UK at Selfridges&Co over the summer, but unfortunately isn't available there at the moment. So if you want to shop her style visit generalpants.com

Lonely Hearts AW12 'Science Fiction'

The latest collection from Lonely Hearts plays with the theme of science fiction and draws inspiration from the 90s, with shapes and silhouettes influenced by the movie The Matrix. This was articulated brilliantly at the recent New Zealand Fashion Week show where styling for the show included killer shoes, nineties touches such as chokers and baseball caps, and a prodigy soundtrack to set the scene.
"We began by thinking of Trinity," Lonely Hearts designer Steve Ferguson explained. "She's a warrior, and she wears a lot of that tight, uniform type stuff."
Although it is clear the label have taken a slightly different direction for this season, with the overall theme being much more mature. The collection remains true to the heart of the label, and won't neglect the tastes of the long time fans.

Stolen Girlfriends Club AW12

Tough leather, heavy knits, delicate mesh, gothic lace detailing, bursts of orange and dashes of print make up the Autumn/Winter 2012 collection.

Once again the New Zealand label have achieved the right balance of interesting and wearable with a mainly simplified colour scheme of black, navy, white and cream.  Here is a few of my favorite looks. The black mesh skeleton dress is do dye for.
