Another successful Central St Martins graduate whose fellow classmates included Alexander McQueen, Stella McCartney and Giles Deacon, and one of my favorite new(ish) designers Alison Clemency-Buddenhagen. She created, and designs for, the label Clemency London which she launched about two years ago.
Her career highlights include Clemency London being shot for British, Italian, Japanese and Russian Vogues, working with Christopher Bailey, Calvin Klein and Giorgio Armani and making a film with Rankin.
The Yorkshire girls design signature has been described as “Fiercely sensual, oozing with laid-back luxury."
Her collections are very wearable and oh-so cool! The Autumn/Winter 2011 collection is underpinned by a sartorial elegance with beautiful tailoring throughout, mixed with French sophistication and a sexy London rock vibe.
Definitely one to watch...
