Style & Sound: GRIMES
She's already set to be one of 2012's most exciting musicians and influencer of style, Claire Boucher, better known as Grimes is definitely one to watch.
She is a self-taught singer, producer and visual artist, and the 23-year-old Canadian has a unique sound that references everything from New Age trance to Korean pop. Bullett magazine described her music as a “marriage between the voice of a human and the heartbeat of a machine.” I'm not quite sure what that means, but her songs are good, her style is fun, and I like her very much.
She recently graced the cover of Dazed & Confused and released her 3rd album VISIONS in January this year. Although it's her third album she say's this recent release should be considered her first as the first two were 'just practice'.
My favourite songs are GENESIS and SKIN. And my favourite video is for the Track OBLIVION...

Wonderland Magazine: Beautifully Damned
Re-visiting Sofia Coppola’s The Virgin Suicides, this month’s shoot from Wonderland magazine gives a whimsical take on this seasons candy colours trend.
Joomi Lim Jewellery
In 2009, New York-based wife and husband duo Joomi Lim and Xavier Ricolfi launched a collection of daring, high-fashion jewellery. I'm obsessed with the spike pieces. Prices start at £60 for the bracelets and about £80 for the chokers. They are available from Harvey Nichols and Matches Fashion.

Hana Pesut Part Two - Salvation Mountain
The next thing that I loved was a collection of images from a place called Salvation Mountain. I did my research. This is a real place! It's located in the Southern Californian desert. It was created by Leonard Knight and it's what he describes as his gift to the world with the simple message 'God Is Love'.
Hana Pesut Part One - Switcharoo
A little discovery I made yesterday. Hana Pesut a self-taught photographer based in Vancouver, Canada. Her main focus in photography is the “little moments” that
people sometimes miss and later wish they had captured. If you go on her website SINCERELYHANA.COM you can see loads of her projects.
One of the projects which most excited me was 'SWITCHAROO', where couples switched clothes. The last one is funny!
